Description
Enjoy this free community festival celebrating Latinx culture. From 12pm-7pm explore our Latinx market, CHUCHA: “Ni de aqui ni de alla” exhibition, screen printing, trenzitas (hair braiding), film, workshops and more.
Latin x Brixton Festival was born out of years of campaigning by community organiser and project lead of My Uncle Is Not Pablo Escobar, Valentina Andrade and LatinXcluded. The festival was created to bring the Latin American community into a vibrant cultural hub where community, culture and heritage are celebrated unapologetically.
The festival embodies the spirit of My Uncle Is Not Pablo Escobar, weaving together art and activism to amplify the voices of the community. Returning with an even stronger focus on dance, movement and knowledge-sharing.
All events are free to attend. Booking is required to secure your spot for workshops, talks and the film screening.
