Rampage Sound DJ Institution is a short, intensive training programme designed for young people aged 18-25 who want to explore DJing and develop skills within the music and creative industries.

Rampage Sound DJ Institution is a short, intensive training programme designed for young people aged 21-25 who want to explore DJing and develop skills within the music and creative industries.

Delivered over two weeks, the programme combines hands-on learning with guidance from experienced DJs, giving participants access to industry-standard equipment and the opportunity to build confidence behind the decks.

Whether you’re completely new to DJing or looking to sharpen your skills, Rampage Sound DJ Institution will support you to learn the fundamentals of mixing, music selection and live performance in a supportive small-group environment.

Across the programme, participants will:

    •    Learn the fundamentals of DJing and music mixing
    •    Get hands-on experience with professional DJ equipment
    •    Develop confidence in live performance and creative expression
    •    Explore music culture and audience engagement
    •    Create and deliver a short recorded or live DJ set
    •    Gain insight into pathways within the music and creative industries

Delivered in partnership with Brixton House, the programme supports local talent development and creates accessible entry points into the creative sector.

Commitment

  • 2 week intensive programme:
    • 27-29 July & 3-5 August – participants must attend all 6 sessions
  • Small group sessions
  • Open to young people aged 21-25
