Description
The feathers have been packed away and the road has been swept – Carnival 60 might officially be over, but we’re keeping the vibes going! Sixty years of colour, culture, and Caribbean joy and we’re still celebrating the only way we know how, continuing our pop up residency at Brixton House. This time we’re collaborating with Pressure, the Housemates Festival show written by Danny Bailey exploring rebellion, revolution, and Caribbean resistance.
On Friday 11th September, we’re taking over the iconic Brixton House Foyer once more for a post-Carnival Pop Up & Vibes Fete and Evening Market, you absolutely cannot miss. Twenty incredible vendors for you to shop to a soundtrack courtesy of Brixton’s own Just Vibez and a performance of Pressure followed by a post-show Q&A with cast and creatives.
Schedule
6pm – Pre-show pop up market & DJ set
7.30pm – Performance of Pressure
8.45pm – Post-show Q&A
9.30pm – Post-show pop up market & DJ set
11.30pm – Event closes
Please note, while the pop up is completely free to attend, if you would like to watch the performance of Pressure, you will need to purchase a separate ticket here.
