The final day of We Are Parable’s tenth anniversary celebrations begins with a floral workshop celebrating Black women on screen, led by co-founder and founder Shirley Blossoms, Teanne Andrews. The floral workshop is free and will take place in The Nook at 12.45pm.
At 2pm, there will be a special screening of Gina Prince-Bythewood’s much-loved film, Love & Basketball. At 5.30pm, We Are Parable will present a surprise preview screening in association with Apple TV+. They can’t say anymore right now, but you don’t want to miss this.
In addition to the screenings, there will be live performances by Mr Reed and Aicha Therese from Poetic Unity, music by DJ Hey Essay (Got Soul) and a big closing night party!
