Step into Open House – Brixton House’s takeover, led by our Young Associates. Over two days, our Young Associates will take full creative control of our main space.
At the centre of the evening is Off the Record, a bold new production set inside a record shop, exploring young people’s evolving relationship with gentrification, ownership, and the shift from physical culture to online downloading. At its core, the piece delves into our emotional and cultural relationships with music – what it means to us, how we access it, and how it shapes identity, memory and belonging.
Written and performed by our Young Associates and directed by Philip Morris, this work offers a powerful insight into the voices and perspectives shaping the next generation of theatre-makers.
