4 October-6 October

Using film, debate, improvisation and role playing, Without Planning Permission! will engage with community members to identify solutions to unjust and inequitable systems and institutions.

Black Men's Consortium, in association with Brixton House presents

Description

Without Planning Permission! Explores themes that Black men feel they have to deal with when it comes to protecting their mental health & wellbeing and be accountable for in the communities they reside in.

Using film, debate, improvisation and role playing we will engage with community members to identify solutions to unjust and inequitable systems and institutions in order to translate these ideas into new “laws” and/or make changes to existing “laws”.
Audiences will be invited to watch, act and vote on the issues they want to see changed.

The Black Men’s Consortium is a user-led community exploration arts project in which Black men meet to experience positive and meaningful interactions and discuss issues that matter to them.
