Housemates Festival returns: submissions open for 2023!
The inaugural Housemates Festival returns in July 2023, submissions are now open!
After a successful Housemates 2022 which has seen us bring back two productions for a second run, we are calling all storytellers to share your stories with us and together we will bring them to life.
Brixton House wants to work with you to share your creative voice and present your work to audiences in our Theatre 1, Theatre 2 or Studio 4 spaces. This year we are looking for stories that would suit an intimate audience and we are open to all genres and forms of writing and storytelling for performance, we are also welcoming submissions for family productions and artwork – they just need to be ready to go! Submissions close at 14:00 on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023.
For performance submissions, please email scripts, recordings or pitch documents to [email protected] with HOUSEMATES in the subject line.
For artwork submissions, please email a sample of artwork or link to portfolio to [email protected] with HOUSEMATES in the subject line.
All submitters will receive a response to their submission by March 31st 2023.
