Our third year sees us announce an incredible new season with a festival of work commemorating the 40th anniversary of the 1985 Brixton Uprising. We continue to develop and invest in the creative futures of Black and Global Majority storytellers by presenting their work front and centre stage of the cultural renaissance taking place in the heart of Brixton.
More than 44,000 people have watched our shows and taken part in our arts and culture offerings since February 2022, and we are proud to amplify and uplift voices and perspectives often overlooked by mainstream funded culture, celebrating the power of our cultural capital.
We are committed to and representative of Brixton, a place where the lively and diverse people who live, work and visit, come together to celebrate creativity, engage with culture, and build community.
Thank you to all those who performed at our third birthday including the cast of BLACK POWER DESK, Sutara Gayle aka Lorna Gee, and the CASA DJ.
Sponsored by Pop Brixton with catering from The Laundry and drinks from Brixton Spirits.
