Blessence Big Reunion
The Return of a Legendary LGBTQ+ Club Night
After years away, Blessence is back for one unforgettable night of music, memories and celebration. Expect a night of nostalgia, familiar smiles, and the kind of dancefloor where we used to rub off wallpaper!
Founded by Lorna ‘Sutara’ Gee in December 2003, Blessence quickly became one of London’s most loved LGBTQ+ club nights. Beginning as a women-only event at the George IV in Brixton, it soon evolved into a welcoming, mixed queer space where everyone could come together to enjoy great music, good vibes and a true sense of community.
Known for its warm atmosphere and mature crowd, Blessence has always been about more than just dancing. It’s about reconnecting with friends, celebrating our culture, and creating unforgettable moments on the dancefloor.
Expect a soundtrack of Reggae, Rare Groove, Revival, Lovers Rock, Dancehall and Party Classics, delivered by the original Blessence DJs, bringing back the tunes that defined a generation.
Whether you were there from the very beginning or are discovering Blessence for the first time, this special reunion is your chance to reconnect with old friends, meet new faces and celebrate over two decades of music, culture and community. Join us as we bring the original Blessence spirit back to the dance floor for one unforgettable night.
Now it’s time to reunite.
