Brixton Link Up (BLU) has come together to bring you a brand new six-week youth programme for young people aged 12-15. BLU is a consortium including Brixton House, ML Community Enterprise, Big Kid Foundation and Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing Association coming together to provide opportunities for local young people.
Brixton House Youth Lounge is a space to get creative, meet new people and shape something together. Whether you’re into visual arts, performance, or just looking for somewhere to hang out and connect, this programme is for you.
Working alongside professional artists and facilitators, you’ll help build your own youth creative hub – shaping the energy, activities and atmosphere of the space as you go.
Across six weeks, participants will:
- Explore visual arts, performance and production
- Meet new people
- Build confidence and develop new skills
- Help design a creative space for young people
- Work with supportive artists and facilitators
Brixton House Youth Lounge is free to attend, with refreshments provided throughout the programme.
