Description
UK Premiere of HERE & NOW
Reconnect with what it means to be present with a live performer.
Why do we come together in the theatre? To laugh? To be moved? To discover a story? Or, more trivially, to get value for money? If there is a recipe for a show, what ingredients will the audience put forward?
Trân Tran, ever the professional performer, tries to fulfil the stated expectation of their audience, through this witty interactive show of possibilities, it’s never the same show twice! Not short of ideas or props, Trân Tran’s actions create a constant state of shifting – a funny step to the side and suddenly you find yourself in a moment of poignant reflection.
HERE & NOW mischievously re-examines the pact between audience and performer and celebrates the beautiful ‘here and now’ of live theatre.
Three international artists challenge us to see differently in the Swiss Selection Live. Featuring artists Trân Tran in HERE & NOW, Ntando Cele in BLACK OFF and Alan Alpenfelt’s Binaural Views of Switzerland.
