Brixton House presents

Description

History lives in Brixton’s bricks, beats and bold resistance. In this workshop led by multidisciplinary artist, writer, director and photographer Myah Asha Jeffers, we’ll explore how archives—official and underground, personal and collective—can be tools for radical imagination.

Through performance, writing and creative research, participants will dig into the spirit of Brixton’s past: its voices, protests, culture and legacy, and breathe new life into those stories. What gets remembered and why? What have we inherited and what will we leave behind?

Weave your own story into the fabric of Brixton House.

This is a workshop for young people ready to engage with the past to shape the now. Expect conversation, collaboration and exploration.
