Description
Tap dance involves making a rhythmic sound with the dancer’s tap toe and heel shoes. Originating from the US, Tap is a fusion of several ethnic percussive dances, primarily West African sacred, secular step dances (gioube) and Scottish, Irish, and English clog dances, hornpipes, and jigs.
Annette Walker is one of the leading exponents of a new generation of tap dancers taking the stage with grace, style, and above all, rhythm.
