Description

To celebrate their upcoming EP ‘Home is Where You Make It’, ADANNAY will be hosting an evening that takes you on a journey through Caribbean music, exploring how history shapes the art we make and love.

As a Black queer artist and granddaughter of the Windrush generation, ADANNAY’s music explores the cultural legacies we inherit and how these interplay with our personal identities.

This event will feature an exclusive listening party preview of their EP-in-progress and will also include the premiere of a short film by ADANNAY and a panel discussion featuring singer, rapper and musician GAIKA, musical director Chris Cameron, who has worked with the likes of George Michael, Leona Lewis and Tina Turner, and Indira, one of the founders of Twossaints and a specialist in Caribbean indigenous languages. There will also be performances from the Caribbean Folk Company and rapper DEACON.
