Description
Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov
adapted by Cordelia Lynn
directed by Jane Jeffery
designed by Constance Canavarro
“The world is changing, you can feel the weight of it building in the air. There is a great storm coming, coming closer and closer, and it is going to break over our laziness and indifference and cleanse the rotten heart right out of our society.”
In a provincial town in Russia in 1989, three sisters dream of a past they can’t quite remember, long for a future which they can’t quite touch, and wait for their lives to begin.
Trigger warnings: alcoholism, depression and suicidal references/thoughts.
Duration: The show is 2 hours long with a 15 minute interval.
