HangParty

HangParty Viewing Celebration

4 August-4 August

HangParty's Art Viewing is a celebratory evening dedicated to the artists of Brixton exhibiting works across our foyer and gallery space.

Description

HangParty arrives in Brixton, inspired by Hang Night’s™ salon-style evening of creative expression in Harlem. Designed to catalyse a diverse and inclusive creative community, HangParty is an annual showcase where artists of every genre at every stage of development are seen and heard. Curated by Brixton House’s Front of House team, HangParty presents an eclectic mix of visual arts, an open mic for poetry, and vocal performers but may also include dance performers, musicians, or a mini-fashion presentation – you’ll have to come by to see! All of the events embrace Brixton locals, ranging from children to elders. Our safe space is judgment free for creatives and appreciators of the arts to share and exchange joyfully. We encourage visual and performing artists who’ve never publicly expressed themselves to show up and exhibit and meet new potential friends and collaborators! HangParty’s Art Viewing is a celebratory evening dedicated to the Artists of Brixton exhibiting works across our foyer and gallery space. Celebrate the creativity of local artists from all disciples and experiences, accompanied by a DJ playing the best of R&B from US & UK playlists. The Foyer // Thursday 4 August 2022, 6:00pm
