HangParty arrives in Brixton, inspired by Hang Night’s™ salon-style evening of creative expression in Harlem. Designed to catalyse a diverse and inclusive creative community, HangParty is an annual showcase where artists of every genre at every stage of development are seen and heard.
Curated by Brixton House’s Front of House team, HangParty presents an eclectic mix of visual arts, an open mic for poetry, and vocal performers but may also include dance performers, musicians, or a mini-fashion presentation – you’ll have to come by to see!
HangParty’s Open Mic brings all the creative vibes to Brixton House for the twinning festival with Harlem. Regardless of experience, if you perform music, poetry, spoken word, or comedy, book your free ticket either as a performer to share your work with the Brixton community. All performers get a free drink from us!
Afterwards, join us for a HangParty Celebration in the bar with a US-UK DJ set till late.
The Foyer // Saturday 5 August, 6:00pm till late
